Die is part of a figurative series, turning a 2D photographic process into a 3D one. It takes the idea of the cube, whether a child’s block or, in this case, a gambler’s die, and playfully expands upon it. And by greatly enlarging the object, the nature of the die’s dots is revealed! . . "Die" is part of TRIANGULATION 🔺which is currently on exhibit at The Narrows in Fall River, an exhibit exploring the paths one takes to find their center. Sculptural and photographic work by Matthew J. Peake, Laura White Carpenter and David Lee Black, - on view during business hours as well as during musical performances.
