Libby observed the framed art behind her and suggested that life imitate art for part of the Graduate Series, a photographic journey into the historic Graduate Providence. #sweetdreamssociety #thegraduateseries #davidleeblack  Imagine my surprise when @ericbennybloom peeped into my studio space at the @graduatehotels while on tour with @lettucefunk.
"David?" "Eric?!" It had been 8 years since I photographed him with the Funky Autocrats in his roots of Onleyville, RI before the hometown boy did Good with the wildly successful funk band @lettucefunk. We arranged a brief reenactment photoshoot inside the spectacular Graduate Providence Hotel as part of my Graduate Series. We had a good chat, caught up a bit and he generously gave me VIP tickets to that evening's show at The Strand which was superb of course! The whole encounter reminded me of a recent conversation with @djws that networking is so important in the creative process cuz ya never know!  “If you try to view yourself through the lenses that others offer you, all you will see are distortions; your own light and beauty will become blurred, awkward, and ugly. Your sense of inner beauty has to remain a very private thing.”
