 The Leahy horse farm in Lahinch is a delightful destination to photograph life as it happens in real time. The Leahy boys are hard working and always eager to lend a hand, or foot in this case... closing the barn door with the late great David Lang.

~Alan Watts  Poet and super divine spirit, Marie Michaelle Santil, returned to the ancestors this spring leaving behind a legacy of artistry and friendship. Skye Gallery will host an installation of prints and poems in her honor from July 11 - July 31, 2020, in the hopes that people who wish to celebrate her life and grieve her loss can do so surrounded by her image and her profound words. It will also be an opportunity for those who didn't know her to learn about this deeply moving Providence artist.

Each year on the 23rd of June, the nearby Fair Green is used for the famous Spancilhill Horse Fair. At one time, Spancilhill was said to be Ireland's largest fair with buyers from Britain, Russia, Prussia, and France competing to purchase the best stock for their Imperial armies.
