~James Thurber "Award-winning photographer David Lee Black of Wrentham, MA is known throughout New England for his gallery shows, creative workshops, and ground-breaking portraiture. Black has put together a special show for the Freedom Public Library that focuses on his love for the people and places of Ireland. From now until mid-December, Black's striking photos will be on display in our downstairs gallery. He's also included some whimsical and poignant sculptures that capture the mood and spirit of the Irish countryside. Many of the photographs will be included in Black's forthcoming book, "The Vanishing Light of Ireland.""
