Bodhrán . . .

Yesterday friends and family gathered to honor the work of David Lang. The name of the permanent outdoor sculpture piece is "The Question is the Answer" and will greet visitors for years to come. 'David Lang (1941-2017) was an artist of many talents, working in a multiplicity of media. He began teaching at Middlesex School in Concord, MA in 1972, later becoming Head of the Art Department. Over his lifetime he worked in both two- and three-dimensional media as an accomplished painter, photographer, and sculptor. His work was shown at the (then) Brockton Art Museum-Fuller Memorial as early as the 1970s.'

I was editing this weekend's photography shoot and realized that I used an Irish drum, a bodhran in the series. David played this drum at many irish sessions in County Clare and gave it to me to learn.
